Most of the files are out of date, there are syntax issues with files such as hb-install-bootloader.xml, hb-install-ppc-disk.xml, hb-install-stage.xml. Please double check your sourcecode with xmllint. See http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/gdp/doc/doc-tipsntricks.xml for more information .
Disregard the "most of the files", I notice that you have the obsoleted files available next to the existing ones. You do want to check the XML validity though. Also, remove the obsoleted files, they'd only raise more questions than answers.
Swift saw it first, but it's mine ;-) Obsoleted files amount to just one:hb-install-bootloader.xml. I removed it. Invalid files: hb-install-ppc-disk.xml: a tag was closed with >>, the second > was considered CDATA hb-install-stage.xml: English title had been left above Romanian Please do run your docs through xmllint.
Impressive work. Kudos to your team. FYI, I changed handbook/index.xml to remove the extra "etc.", sort languages in alphabetical order and I took the liberty of appending an "ă" to "German". Just let me know if I was wrong. BTW, the <date> elements should remain the same, but be translated. So should the "title" attribute of the <author> elements. Besides, if you want to make use of the lang="ro" attribute, please sumbit a translation of http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/inserts-en.xml?passthru=1 (tiny file) so that the strings like "print", "content", "note"... can be shown in Romanian. Please, do keep it up-to-date. It would be a shame to see so much work disappear into obsoleteness. Kudos...
ok. i'll submit the inserts-ro.xml tonight (my TZ) and begin to translate author and date content. The character appended to the 'German' string is the correct one. Thank you for your help!
