here is a ebuild for ghostview the current one wasnt optimized and also didnt have a link to gv which is handy for old apps that expect to find gv for ghostview

well i just saw a update in portage and found that there is another prog that does same function as this but filename is called gv so before commiting this ebuild id suggest removing the symlink for ghostview to gv
