Please add a big fat  <warning> that in order to use a cascaded profile one needs to upgrade portage to 2.0.51 *first*. 

Failure to upgrade leads to this Error:

!!! 'str' object has no attribute 'insert'
!!! 'rm -Rf /usr/portage/profiles; emerge sync' may fix this. If it does
!!! not then please report this to bugs.gentoo.org and, if possible, a dev
!!! on #gentoo (irc.freenode.org)

Since the advice given in that error message will not help, people tell a dev on #gentoo. (which often happens to be me.)

Fixed for doc/en/gentoo-upgrading.xml, reassinging to roger55 himself for the releng doc (I'm sure he knows who to assign to as "releng@gentoo.org" doesn't seem to work).
