Created attachment 43476 [details] net-p2p/gtorrentviewer-0.2b.ebuild This is my ebuild for gtorrentviewer.
I tried this out. There's no digest file for it, so it fails. Version a installs just fine on the same machine.
If you save the ebuild in the directory /usr/local/portage/net-p2p/gtorrentviewer/ and have PORTDIR_OVERLAY=/usr/local/portage in /etc/make.conf, you can generate the digests with the command (after having downloaded the source): # ebuild /usr/local/portage/net-p2p/gtorrentviewer/gtorrentviewer-0.2b.ebuild digest
Created attachment 59887 [details] Updated ebuild to apply install target patch This ebuild will fix the install targets in the data and pixmaps Makefiles so the install stages doesn't have "ACCESS DENIED" errors. The install targets were hardcoded to the actual final install locations, instead of softcoded so the package install could be redirected to /var/tmp/portage/gtorrentviewer-0.2b/image.
Created attachment 59888 [details, diff] Patch to softcode install targets This patch softcodes the install target definitions in the data and pixmaps Makefiles so the install can take place in the package image directory. The original Makefiles tried to install the files directly into the root file system.
gtorrentviewer is already in portage since a long time. this bug should be closed
