Intro Every 6 weeks or so, a LAN called Valhalla LAN Party is run in a little old town called Adelaide located in Australia. Like every LAN, Valhalla tries to keep those lanners with a short attention span happy. That's where "UgLy Game Search Engine" comes into action. What is it? UgLy Game Search Engine quickly searches the network for game servers and also can be used to list games you choose to search, then lists them on a web site and then lists them in a HTML format and a qstat formatted file for other programs, such as Server Query to use. The script itself uses very little memory or bandwidth and will happily run in the background. What do you need to run it? A Computer (its a good start) A Unix based OS (should work under windows but is untested) Perl 5 A C compiler A Network
