Description Nikolas Garofil 2004-11-06 11:08:51 UTC
When i try to emerge Kismet-2004.04.1-r1 without the "ethereal" USE-flag it works, but i i try the same thing with the "ethereal" flag on it crashes. It is possible to fix this by first emerging glib. But glib isn't directly or indirectly a dependency of Kismet. I think it can be fixed if someone would include "dev-libs/glib" in the dependencies of kismet.

Reproducible: Always

Could you please see if the problem exists with net-wireless/kismet-2004.10.1?
Comment 2 Michal Margula 2004-12-14 07:59:18 UTC
I can confirm that 2004.10.1 version fixes problem with ethereal USE flag for kismet. I had similar issue, with missing dependency on ethereal.
Comment 3 Henrik Brix Andersen 2004-12-14 08:16:57 UTC
Ok, net-wireless/kismet-2004.10.1 is now marked x86.

Closing as FIXED.
