driconf is a GUI configurator for DRI. I have created and tested an ebuild for version 0.2.2. See attached.

Ah, I thought you were referring to some other needed files. There's no need to ever attach a changelog, manifest or digest.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, is there any problem with driconf ? I can't see it in portage.

As usual, one of my ebuilds has not been put into Portage for seemingly no reason. I plan to become a Gentoo dev by August just so I can push these things along. It's very frustrating.

Please do become a dev. There are very few people doing X work right now, and adding more work to the plate is definitely not my top priority.

The thing is I don't really have any particular area of expertise or interest, I just like helping out with odd jobs like making ebuilds and fixing random bugs here and there - I use Gentoo for a very broad range of tasks. I spoke to a few existing devs about this at the Gentoo UK conference and they said go for it. I won't do it just yet though because I'm due to graduate in June and I've got my finals coming up. My dissertation will be going into Portage though. =D

Ebuild has been added to the tree, thanks for everyone's patience.  I've only
tested this vs modular X and thus have it p.masked.  I've set deps for it to
work vs monolithic, so let me know if this works vs standard xorg-x11.

Bumped using the ebuild from the tree instead.  The ebuilds here are not the same as in the tree.
