Compiling Kernel gentoo-dev-sources 2.6.9-r3
following error shows up in file qla_os.c and qla_rscn.c
the compiler complains about inlining the function 

qla2x00_callback in file qla_os.c
qla2x00_remove_iodesc_timer in file qla_rscn.c

after removing the inline definition from these
function all worked fine.

Used gcc version :
gcc --version
gcc (GCC) 3.4.2 20041025 (Gentoo Linux 3.4.2-r3, ssp-3.4.1-1, pie-8.7.6.5)
