Please bump the pdfjam-Package to current version 3.02 (https://github.com/DavidFirth/pdfjam).
If possible, please include the (unsupported scripts downloadable under https://github.com/DavidFirth/pdfjam-extras) since these scripts have been removed from the main distribution.

merged into texlive-core 2021, no pending bumps gonna happen.

Just to note for trying to run pdfjam:

# emerge -vD app-text/texlive-core
[Installs all ok]

# pdfjam ...

  pdfjam: This is pdfjam version 3.03.
  pdfjam: Reading any site-wide or user-specific defaults...
          (none found)
  pdfjam ERROR: can't find pdflatex!


# emerge -vD dev-texlive/texlive-latexextra
[Installs all ok]

[pdfjam now runs fine.]


Note:

# which pdfjam
/usr/bin/pdfjam

YET!

# equery b /usr/bin/pdfjam
 * Searching for /usr/bin/pdfjam ... 
app-text/texlive-core-2021 (/usr/share/texmf-dist/scripts/pdfjam/pdfjam)
app-text/texlive-core-2021 (/usr/bin/pdfjam -> ../share/texmf-dist/scripts/pdfjam/pdfjam)


... But also note the dependancy:

# which pdflatex
/usr/bin/pdflatex

# equery b /usr/bin/pdflatex
 * Searching for /usr/bin/pdflatex ... 
app-text/texlive-core-2021 (/usr/bin/pdftex)
dev-texlive/texlive-latex-2021 (/usr/bin/pdflatex -> pdftex)

As for now, app-text/pdfjam is here to stay.
