Now the wayland useflag is not in ebuild depends, resulting in compilation fail (arm64 at least)

missing build.log, missing emerge --info - what are we supposed to do here?

Time to apologize. I return to previous setup to get logs and info needed, and failed to reproduce the issue.
As much as I tried to trace the error when it occurred and a file reported missing in qtwayland build was part of installation qtcore with wayland, now its running OK and this bug is probably invalid.
