Comment 1 Jurek Bartuszek (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-11-04 11:08:32 UTC
This output was created by dvd::rip (both - new and old versions give the same output).
Comment 2 G.K.MacGregor 2004-11-14 11:21:45 UTC
Here transcode is trying to use a 0.9.x version of the xvid libraries, but
xvid 1.0.2 went stable not so long ago. I don't know how you'd do it from
dvd::rip, but specifying "-y xvid4,null" instead of "-y xvid,null" on the
command line may solve your problem.
Comment 3 Jeffrey Forman (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-11-14 11:27:14 UTC
Not a bugzilla bug.
Comment 4 Jurek Bartuszek (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-11-14 11:40:59 UTC
In general, upgrading transcode to unstable helps here.
Comment 5 Daniel Black (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-12-18 23:02:09 UTC
media-video people - are you happy to stabilise the later versions. If so which version?
Comment 6 Jurek Bartuszek (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-12-19 00:16:32 UTC
I think that 0.6.14 is OK. Moreover, there is something to be done with k3b's transcode dependencies, because the k3b-0.11.17 ebuild requires - dunno why and who set that - <media-video/transcode-0.6.12, when not using amd64 flag.

Regards,

Jurek 'Koxta' Bartuszek
Comment 7 Simon Stelling (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-12-23 14:15:50 UTC
0.6.12 is stable, 0.6.14 testing on amd64
Comment 8 Daniel Black (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-12-23 15:10:11 UTC
0.6.14 needs in src_install:
mv ${D}/usr/share/doc/${PN} \
                 ${D}/usr/share/doc/${PF}

before dodoc
