emerge --info

Current unstable kde-plasma/plasma-workspace-wallpapers-5.17.3 does not install any image file, as neither cmake or any other call to actually install the image files to ${D} for subsequent merging to live system is ever called.

Not with emerge nor when using ebuild ... install does this happen.
The only file merged to the live system is the package's AUTHORS file.

Manually creating a Makefile and running make install does the job.

This has been fixed in =kde-plasma/plasma-workspace-wallpapers-5.17.3-r1
