Description Jonathan Heaney 2004-11-03 17:35:11 UTC
Hopefully this will reach David Holm, with whom I have worked on the uae/e-uae scsi stuff before.

Summary is pretty self explanatory, moving to the new e-uae builds and now it doesn't find the libscg/libschily libs/headers (not sure which). cdrtools-2.01 installed on an ~x86 box.

I've tried using a local portage override and bumping the e-uae ebuild to rc2 but that didn't help.

As an aside, the sources form Rich's site don't unpack cleanly for me here on a JFS fs. I have to repack them without the offending file and rebuild the digest.

>>> Unpacking source...
>>> Unpacking e-uae-0.8.27-RC1.tar.bz2 to /var/tmp/portage/e-uae-0.8.27_rc1/worktar: e-uae-0.8.27-RC1/docs/translated/L\304S_MIG: Cannot open: Invalid argument
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors

I've played around with some of the configure options w.r.t. scsi libs/headers in the ebuild but nothing has worked of yet, if I get some time to look into what's going on I'll follow up.

Reproducible: Always

Comment 1 David Holm (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-11-04 02:42:23 UTC
I will see what I can find. I had some issues with RC2 as it wouldn't build properly, I will have to look into that as well.
Comment 2 Jonathan Heaney 2005-01-06 09:45:11 UTC
Both of these issues are fixed upstream in CVS.
