Hey Gentoo guys. I've just finished writing up a little ebuild for Drivel http://sourceforge.net/projects/drivel/ . Its a GNOME2 LiveJournal client. Yey. I've added very brief dependencies, and so far I've not had any trouble with it. If there are any other dependencies that I'm missing please tell me. Also the install is kinda funky. It wanted to put a bunch of gconf stuff into $PREFIX/etc/gconf/..... I don't think that's correct (or at least I don't want any etc/gconf data in /usr. So the $prefix=/usr but the sysconfdir=/etc. Attached is the ebuild script. I've currently got mine stored in net-misc but may consider moving it to a gnome-* section (gnome-extra maybe)?

what is the difference between this and logjam? they look like they do the same thing. i can't actually have a livejournal account and i don't feel like paying for one either.
Well, as far as I know, logjam is GTK+ 1.2 only. Unless they ported it. And drivel's already made it into portage. Either via this ebuild or another, so this bug could probably just be closed.
thanks for that. i didn't know it was in portage already. hrmmm anyway, logjam 4.x is gtk2.
