Description Grant Hill 2004-11-03 01:34:59 UTC
when the language is changed to en_GB and a document checked, aspell crashes as though it hasn't found the dictionary. Using en_US and en_CA result in the expected behaviour. Version of aspell is aspell-0.50.5-r4 with aspell-en-0.51.1. I've tried re-emerging aspell-en but the problem isn't fixed.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.run aspell --lang=en_GB on a text file
2.
3.

Actual Results:
aspell does not run

Expected Results:
aspell should have run with the GB english dictionary

Portage 2.0.51-r2 (default-x86-2004.2, gcc-3.3.4, glibc-2.3.4.20040808-r1, 2.6.9

Very strange. Works fine here.

aspell --lang=en_GB --check british

Could you post the contents of /usr/lib/aspell/?

Sorry, I'd forgot about this bug.

The problem seems to now be resolved (I went completely ~x86), apologies for not mentioning this. Please feel free to close the bug.
