Description Tyler Montbriand 2004-11-02 17:32:02 UTC
The xpdfrc file distributed with many versions of xpdf looks in a nonexistent
directory for fonts -- /usr/share/fonts/default/ghostscript/ . This causes it
to render many pdf files as white textless pages.

Symlinking /usr/share/fonts/ghostscript to /usr/share/fonts/default/ghostscript
solves the problem, but it'd be nice if we could get this fixed in portage.
The incorrect file exists in the portage tree under
/usr/portage/app-text/xpdf/files/xpdfrc.1

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load a PDF file
2. Observe blank white space where text should be

Actual Results:
There was blank white space instead of text.

Expected Results:
It should have showed text.
