please add ~amd64 or +Mamd64   dependancy emul-x86 libraries, 32 bit emulation enabled. emul-linux-x86-sdl dependancy. 32 bit Emulation.  remove /opt/unreal-tournament/System/lidsdl-1.1.so.0 and symlink to /emul/linux/x86/usr/lib/libSDL-1.2.so.0 -> /opt/unreal-tournament/System/libSDL-1.1.so.0  for best 3D performance.

sometimes game preferences dont always save, sometimes manual editing of unrealtournament.ini is required. Not a big issue.

Dave I'm not 100% sure what you are asking however hopefully the amd64 or games people can help you. Please reread what you wrote here and add comments to clarify.

amd64 is a keyword you want added to emul-x86 libs?

And the other bit is a suggestion for the emul-x86 ebuild?

Actually... unreal-tournament is hard masked due to security reasons.  We have simply not removed it from the tree due to request, but we are no longer maintaining it.  Until a patch comes out for the security problems, we WONTFIX anything with it.
