Description Evan Cortens 2002-08-24 00:49:41 UTC
FLAC is an Open, lossless audio codec that is quickly gaining favor in the world
of audio compression. Included in this package is a plugin for XMMS, as well as
libraries for encoding/decoding flac files, and a binary to make use of these
libraries.

I would suggest that this be placed under media-sound/flac

Hopefully everything is in order, this is my first ebuild :)

My apologies.. I have already noticed a problem with this ebuild.. I have tried
to fix it, but my knowledge of Gentoo is just not there..

Anyway.. when it is about to do the make install in the plugin_linux directory,
it decides that it has to relink the plugin using libtool-disable-static. It
doesn't do this when I compile it myself, only in the emerge..

Hopefully someone more knowledgable than I can assist with this..
