According to Repology, the current upstream release is 1.1. Please bump.
Comment 1 Nils Freydank 2019-10-05 10:45:13 UTC
Hi mgorny,

1.1 is older than the one inside our tree (and broken).

Upstreams last release was 1.1, while I fixed an upstream issue afterwards.
This fix is also merge in upstream, but no new release was published.

I will close this bug as invalid - if my versioning is wrong/misleading
please reopen it.

For more details take a look at bugs
https://bugs.gentoo.org/650340 (net-p2p/mktorrent-1.1 generates corrupted .torrent files when CFLAGS differ from default)

and

https://github.com/Rudde/mktorrent/issues/22 (Generation of broken torrents with CFLAGS that differ from defaults)

aswell as following tree commits:

Nils

Yeah, I see repology ignored our version because of it — but it's fine, I guess.
