If one of the stages fail when using ebuilder it will usually crash and lose all information entered so far giving no other way than to start over or write ebuild by hand. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.start ebuilder 2.feed it a source uri it don't like. For example right now .tar.Z or .shar 3. Actual Results: ebuilder crash and all work is lost Expected Results: ebuilder either comment on the error and allow you to go back or crash but maintain state so when it is restarted it starts at the point above failure
unfortunately we dont maintain ebuilder and have no idea who does ... you'll have to try to contact the people who write ebuilder if you do find an e-mail address for the maintainer, please tell us :)
