Instead of creating a new kde-3.03 session like the older versions, this time the kdmrc file isn't updated well.
What do you mean? That the session file in /etc/X11/Sessions isn't created properly, or that kdmrc isn't updated properly and has a wrong sessions list?
maybe both my bug says "kdmrc isn't updated well" it lists kde-3.02 instead of 3.03 i dont know what would happen if i manually changed the name to kde-3.03, perhaps it wouldn't work and the session file creation is to blame
OK, let's order the information: what files exist in the /etc/X11/Sessions dir? There should be a kde-3.0.3 one. Also, please run /etc/X11/xdm/Xsetup_0; what is the output?
Er, the file was always there, but when entering kdm somehow i missed the kde 3.03 name and kept launching kde 3.02 session, but as soon as i launched it kdmrc was showing kde 3.03 as it should. sorry for the mess
