Emerging mesa 19.2.0_rc4 stops at 
>>> Running pre-merge checks for media-libs/mesa-19.2.0_rc4

Nothing is printed afterwards.
No error message is given.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Emerge mesa 19.2.0_rc4
2.
3.
Actual Results:  
Mesa cannot be emerged, no error is shown.

Expected Results:  
Mesa will be merged or an error is printed why it cant be merged.

Is it reproducible? I saw some similar things recently where portage hung during pkg_pretend() for acct-{user,group}/* packages.

I'm suspecting a portage bug, I guess.
