Im getting this error with gaim, I even tried their cvs and same error.

Any ideas?

try remerging pango then gaim

Sorry about that, Yes it fixed it but now I have a problem with gaim that wont
allow me to view colors when people IM me with them..  I tried mandrake beta 3
on my sisters computer and it didnt have this problem. 

any ideas?

Was the mandrake version compiled with gtk 1.2 or gtk2?  The gtk2 version is a
tad buggier then the gtk 1.2 compiled version unfortunatly.

Colors still work fine for me with newer versions.  No response from submitter
so closing.
