While trying to install a desktop, I recieved a file not found error (404) on the following two files. arts-1.03.tar.bz2 This one is for KDE linc-0.5.2.tar.bz2 This one is for Gnome. Note KDE 3.0.2 did install correctly, but the new version 3.0.3 is failing.
Same for me. Happens on a gentoo installed with stage1-3 tarballs and with only X merged for the moment. [ I'm new to gentoo so I might be doing something wrong, in which case I'd appreciate that you let me know what :-) ] Looking at the distfiles on the server, I only find versions 1.0.2 and 1.0.6. This is also true for all the other kde packages (ver. 3.0.2 or 3.0.6, no 3.0.3). worksforme now... the missing files seem to be back on ibiblio. I installed without problem.
The arts 1.0.3 download problems were fixed and discussed in lots of other bugreports. Please give this to the appropriate guy for the linc problem.
