Description Mike Auty (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2019-09-17 15:41:58 UTC
Hiya, I realize that the typing-extensions are supposed to be backports of python-3.7 typing information anyway and therefore probably not required for 3.7, but packages that depend on them (notably mypy-0.720) still need to have them installed because they use pkg_resources to figure out if they're there or not.

Please can we add python3_7 to the PYTHON_COMPAT variable in the ebuild...

@python, are you ok for me to add python3_7 to the PYTHON_COMPAT variable in typing-extensions? I've tested it locally and it seems to be fine.

No response in nearly a month, and I got a second bug dependent on getting this resolved, so I added 3.7 support. Feel free to revert if it causes problems... 5:)
