Release notes: https://www.qemu.org/2019/08/16/qemu-4-1-0/ Reproducible: Always
Also note a few CVEs have been resolved with this release. x86: md-clear/mds-no feature flags, for detection/mitigation of MDS vulnerabilities (CVE-2018-12126, CVE-2018-12127, CVE-2018-12130, CVE-2019-11091)
4.1.0 contains a serious qcow2 image corruption bug which is in the process of being fixed: https://bugs.launchpad.net/qemu/+bug/1846427. It ate a number of my images and should IMO at the very least not be stabilized or even masked for now. A patch for backporting should be stabilized in a couple of days in my estimate: https://www.mail-archive.com/qemu-block@nongnu.org/msg58098.html https://www.mail-archive.com/qemu-block@nongnu.org/msg58056.html
