Description Joshua Clayton 2019-09-14 02:01:10 UTC
Netflix and Amazon prime refuse to play video with google-chrome unstable 78.0.3902.4
To troubleshoot it, I first moved ~/.config/google-chrome-unstable, to see if it was profile or plugin related.
No joy, but after downgrading to google-chrome-beta-77.0.3865.75 it works as before.
This might be an upstream bug.

If anyone else runs into this, maybe you can report it to google through the reporting tool in chrome.

i can confirm this. google-chrome-unstable does not install libwidevinecdm.so anymore.

Could anyone confirm it works for current Chrome/Chromium, please?
