emerge --info

Hi there,

My overnight build system failed to build percona-xtrapackup-2.4.13 for my minimal clustered system ; while I have now fixed this at my install by manually emerging "urllib3" for python, I felt I should file this report.

Not entirely sure if the emerge -info is useful at this point but attached it too, along with the original build error I got, and my "resolution" of adding the relevant package to my world.

(I build in a systemd-nspawn container which is where the EPERM about loopback comes from, I don't believe this is remotely relevant, especially since I fixed it, just noting in case anyone wonders about that error. It rarely affects anything, just the GPG verification of the portage tree, historically)

Thanks as ever for your work and support,
Iain

Can you please test version 2.4.15? I just tried on an unstable ~amd64 without urllib3 and it works fine (version 2.4.13 doesn't build on current unstable). If it works for you too, I'll call stabilization on 2.4.15. Thanks.

Hi there.

I force-cleaned urllib3 from the system (apparently dev-python/requests was holding it from normal depclean now).

I confirmed the build of xtrabackup-2.4.13 would fail, as per the original report, and then did a build of xtrabackup-2.4.15 as requested.

All seemed to work fine, I've included the fail/pass part of the builds for reference.

Thanks,
Iain

Cool, thanks, let's stabilize 2.4.15 then.

Arches, please test and mark stable dev-db/percona-xtrabackup-2.4.15. Thanks.
