wikipedia-mode is unmaintained upstream, last release was 0.5 in 2006.

According to the README file of app-emacs/mediawiki, that package is the successor of wikipedia-mode:
"This version of mediawiki.el represents a merging of wikipedia-mode.el (maintained by Uwe Brauer) from EmacsWiki for its font-lock code, menu, draft mode, replying and convenience functions to produce mediawiki.el 2.0."

Unmasked again, because the replacement package app-emacs/mediawiki-2.2.9-r1 has issues with editing tokens for newer versions of the Mediawiki API.
