There have been a few new versions of ALSA released in the past months, and I've made some ebuilds for several of the packages. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Created attachment 42788 [details] alsa-lib-1.0.7_rc2.ebuild
Created attachment 42789 [details] alsa-oss-1.0.7_rc2.ebuild
Created attachment 42790 [details] alsa-jack-1.0.7_rc2.ebuild
Created attachment 42791 [details] alsa-utils-1.0.7_rc2.ebuild
Are these just renames and keyword changes or real changes?
I actually had to edit the ebuilds. I don't make a habit of posting ebuild rename version bumps.
better post diffs, then - it's easier to see what's needed to be changed. And BTW - I usually don't accept RCs into the tree if there's no justification for it... better wait for upstream to declare it stable. (Though I am not from the sound herd, so I have no say here)
is there any pertinent changes that you MUST have? I'm not in the habit of adding beta software in place of stable versions unless it's important.
Version 1.0.7 is in portage now.
