I saw your previous message about the patch. It appears that there is another problem. >>> Updating Scrollkeeper OMF file [/usr/share/omf/control-center/control-center-eu.omf] does not validate against ScrollKeeper-OMF DTD: /usr/share/xml/scrollkeeper/dtds/scrollkeeper-omf.dtd Unable to register /usr/share/omf/control-center/control-center-eu.omf OMF file [/usr/share/omf/control-center/control-center-C.omf] does not validate against ScrollKeeper-OMF DTD: /usr/share/xml/scrollkeeper/dtds/scrollkeeper-omf.dtd Unable to register /usr/share/omf/control-center/control-center-C.omf OMF file [/usr/share/omf/galeon/galeon-manual-C.omf] does not validate against ScrollKeeper-OMF DTD: /usr/share/xml/scrollkeeper/dtds/scrollkeeper-omf.dtd Unable to register /usr/share/omf/galeon/galeon-manual-C.omf OMF file [/usr/share/omf/scrollkeeper/scrollkeeper_manual-C.omf] does not validate against ScrollKeeper-OMF DTD: /usr/share/xml/scrollkeeper/dtds/scrollkeeper-omf.dtd Unable to register /usr/share/omf/scrollkeeper/scrollkeeper_manual-C.omf
For the record, I have also seen this.scrollkeeper-rebuilddb does not fix this, neither does an enmerge and remerge of the control-center ebuild. Further more, it seems that one the scrollkeeper databas is out of whack, any ebuild which tries to update it will hang until the database is rebuilt. -- Tim Hosking
Theese arent "real" error messages, but mean that the documentation format of the package (in this case galeon and control-center) Doesn't validate according to the DTD in scrollkeeper. The rebuilddb item though can be a mess and thats something I need to look at to see if I can fix.
