Description augury@vampares.org 2004-10-28 05:59:48 UTC
i dont know what caused this --
gedit was rebuilt because sort didnt work (turned out to be the use of "\r" in replace)
when gedit was installed the plugin libs had no .so suffix but gedit was link'd as such.
when gedit was run it complained of not finding the plugins and plugins didnt work but otherwise was ok.
adding the .so to the plugins fixed the problem.
this was a rebuild of 2.8.0 so theres a strong likelyhood this is just this one box,
anyone knows why this is though?

this is what my tree looks like w/ a few cvs's --

your 'emerge info' ? builds fine here and what i can gather from your somewhat incoherent report, you are not surprised it fails on your not-so-standard-stable gentoo box ?

cannot reproduce, lack of info & no reply

sorry, it doesnt let me post that many letters. i think these lib may have been linked with --no-version for some reason. i did not set that flag and it hasnt happened since.
