Here is migrationtools-46.ebuild.

This just released MigrationTools-46 got out to fix bugs #68855 and #39718. It fixes Bug #68855 completely and a part of Bug #39718.

As the current state of Gentoo's LDAP support isn't as good as desired - Bug #39718 - I believe this update should got to portage ASAP.

I made a few enhancements to the previous ebuild, mostly cosmetic and user
friendlyness related but I also tightened permissions a little.

Robin,
  Can you take this one?  I'm currently without ldap on any of my machines
(and I was never very good at it, anyway.)  Alternatively, should we consider recruiting someone to take over ldap?

migrationtools-46 in cvs now.

g2boojum: i'd be greatly in favour of recruiting somebody for LDAP work.
