what package is this out of?

Not much we can do for these types of faults. Look in upstream email lists for bug reports.

Alexey, what package is this?
Comment 3 Alexey Maximov 2004-10-29 03:08:58 UTC
media-sound/ogmtools-1.4.1 +dvd

if we have dvd with 2 films on one side, copied to hdd, and if we remove vob files from second film, dvdxchap makes segfault while reading ifo files

I think the problem is with libdvdread, as I had similar trouble with some DVDs and xine some time ago.
Try changing libdvdread version and asking upstream.

If upstream tells you the problem is gentoo's, or provides a patch to fix it, reopen the bug.
