Description _Trick 2004-10-27 06:01:53 UTC
When I try to emerge Gnobog I get an error about glade.h missing.
Which is not but I believe it looks for the old library of libglade (1.0)where libglade 2.x is installed with my 2004-2 Gentoo.
emerge -pv gnobog doesn't show any dependences for libglade.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.install Gentoo 2004 with libglade 2.x
2.emerge -pv gnobog
3.emerge gnobog

Actual Results:
glade.h not found

Expected Results:
finish compiling

i think it's time to carry gnobog to the graveyard, it's not maintained anymore.

sure, it might work with the dep corrected, but i doubt it's much use with todays browsers.

Got the Gnobog guys by email. They say the project is not dead and they hope to upgrade their version (maintained now on Savannah.gnu.org)Though it might not be soon. But I guess we can drop this version and wait for the new one.As for the program itself I found it useful because light (for my 233Mhz computer) and easy to organize with drag&drop from different bookmarks
