Compile and install steps of the net-im/centericq-4.11.0 ebuild is successful, but emerge fails to merge the package with the live file system

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. add "~ppc-macos" to KEYWORDS in centericq-4.11.0.ebuild
2. emerge net-im/centericq
3.

Actual Results:

It seems to be compiling for i386. When I run it, it gives me "bus error". :-(

dead upstream and package.masked pending removal for Bug 160793...
