subversion 1.1.1 is a very important update to 1.1.0; it fixes the showstoppping bug with 'svn ls' taking (almost) forever. Everybody running 1.1.0 should update to this version asap. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Created attachment 42549 [details] ebuild for subversion-1.1.1 based on 1.1.0; I just removed the build patch for 1.1.0 which is not necessary anymore. It builds & works fine for me on two different machines.
I tried using the attached dbuild and it failed saying. * Cannot find $EPATCH_SOURCE! Value for $EPATCH_SOURCE is: * * /usr/local/portage/dev-util/subversion/files/subversion-db4.patch !!! ERROR: dev-util/subversion-1.1.1 failed. !!! Function epatch, Line 262, Exitcode 0 !!! Cannot find $EPATCH_SOURCE! !!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message.
I assume that you have your portage overlay at /usr/local/portage? I have that too and of course you need to copy the patch with the /usr/portage/dev-util/subversion/files directory to your local tree as well.
It'd be nice to see this make it into portage, even if it is masked.
It should now be in portage.
