Created attachment 579334 [details] metadata.xml Please find attached nadeshiko-2.8.5.ebuild and metadata.xml with descriptions to the USE-flags. Nadeshiko is a tool to cut short videos with ffmpeg. Its primary features are fitting clips to a specified size and a smart selection of encoding options. For each video clip it tailors a set of options, that include resolution, bitrate, quantiser and more to make the clip as clean of artefacts as possible. This smart selection makes it possible to create very long clips (up to 6–8 minutes) without the need to find proper ffmpeg options by trial and error a hundred times, as it would have been, if you tried to fit this length into, say 20 MiB, by hand. It also has an mpv frontend called Nadeshiko-mpv. It allows to run the encoding backend either at once, or save the encoding command for later, to be processed by another program, that handles postponed jobs. The project is hosted on Github and has a wiki for users, power users and developers https://github.com/deterenkelt/Nadeshiko Nadeshiko is licensed under GPL v3.
