Currently, the latest kernel under development-sources marked stable on s390 is 2.6.5. We'd like to remove 2.6.5 from the tree since it has build system and some minor security issues.

Do kernels newer than 2.6.5 run ok on s390? If so, could you mark one as stable? Thanks.

according to the ibm stream updates, 2.6.5 is the officially supported version

if there are issues with 2.6.5, then patches will have to be developed until ibm says otherwise
