Created attachment 577730 [details, diff] max_net_interfaces.patch E.g. when using docker and running a lot of containers you can have a lot of network interfaces. This issue is known to upstream for year https://sourceforge.net/p/conky/bugs/250/. Patch is trivial, but it just increase the maximum amount of supported network interface - save it to /etc/portage/patches/app-admin/conky/max_net_interfaces.patch and re-emerge conky to fix the issue.
It really should be fixed upstream, if that is true. Please check, if it is reported, or fixed upstream on the new repository https://github.com/brndnmtthws/conky
(In reply to Jonas Stein from comment #1) > Please check, if it is reported, or fixed upstream on the new repository > https://github.com/brndnmtthws/conky Yeah, it was fixed in this repo 1.5 months ago by this PR: https://github.com/brndnmtthws/conky/pull/824/files
You are right this has been fixed already in the upstream repository of conky. Until now there is no released version including this fix. If this is really important we can add a patch fixing it for conky-1.10.8 until a version including the fix is released.
1.11.4 was just released with this fix.
(In reply to Alex Efros from comment #4) > 1.11.4 was just released with this fix. Haha! Just that everything above 1.11.2 bundles toluapp (see bug #688548). I have to think about this issue as well.
This is fixed in Git with conky-1.11.4
