Description Marcos González 2004-10-23 03:38:29 UTC
I've tried the four games: Wolf3D demo (wl1), Wolf3D(wl6), Spear of Destiny demo (sdm) and Spear of Destiny (sod), and the result is the same:

When I execute the game, the windows opens, but a corrupted image appears and nothing more happens. My guess is an ATI binary drivers incompatibility.

I'm using ati-drivers 3.14.1 on a Radeon 9600 Pro.

Is this still a problem? What versions of ati-drivers have you tried?
Comment 2 Marcos González 2004-11-21 04:07:00 UTC
I recently fed up with ATI crappy Linux support and bought a GeforceFX. Now it's working. Sorry.
Comment 3 Mr. Bones. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-11-21 04:11:23 UTC
good choice. I'll mark this fixed for now.
