Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get access on Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS host
2. Call ./bootstrap-prefix.sh
3. ebuild calls die



The bootstrap environment is Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS

$ mount | grep pts
devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,nosuid,noexec,relatime,mode=600,ptmxmode=000)

$ cat /etc/group | grep tt
tty:x:5:

$ w | grep sie
sielicki pts/12   <redacted ip addr>    16:43    1.00s  0.33s  0.02s w
