During emerge -uD world, on compiling libsdl:

config.status: creating src/video/caca/Makefile
config.status: error: cannot find input file: src/video/caca/Makefile.in

Fixed by removing SDL-1.2.7.tar.gz from distfiles/
I though checksumming prevented this?
