Description Ryan W Sims 2004-10-21 17:10:05 UTC
After emerging anything, emerge prints the error:
"Unable to run required binary." This will prevent emerge from finishing a run of several ebuilds.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. upgrade to =portage-2.0.51-r1
2. emerge kung foo bar
3.

Actual Results:
>>> Regenerating /etc/ld.so.cache...
 * Caching service dependencies...
>>> app-foo/kung-1.1 merged.
Unable to run required binary.
root@localhost root#

Expected Results:
continued to emerge foo and then bar

/var/log/emerge.log says only:
*** terminating.
rather than the usual "success" messages
