> make test TESTS=test_afalg VERBOSE=1

and tell us if at least

* CONFIG_CRYPTO_USER_API=m
* CONFIG_CRYPTO_USER_API_HASH=m
* CONFIG_CRYPTO_USER_API_SKCIPHER=m

is set in your kernel.
