gstreamer:0.10 and co have been a last rites candidate for over 2-3 years now, just hasn't been possible yet due to some consumers being too slow on porting to 1.0 SLOTs or otherwise removing its use. Now meanwhile genymotion-bin has also appeared as a new consumer compared to old checks. Please make it go away. If the 3.0.x version bump really gets rid of all gstreamer usage (sadly not just 1.0 port or whatnot), I can help getting it in, on the premise that the 2.x version can be removed very shortly after.

If you bump to version 3.0.2 (#674766) you can immediately remove old version (in the site you can download only latest version).
