hmm, it isn't really officially supported on gentoo, and probably needs some more patch love. Plus it is pretty beta stuff to begin with. Would randomly crash while switching connections, but Obz can probably comment better on it.
Sorry, I was really just playing around with it, but this isn't stable enough yet (wireless switching), nor supported. We'll have to leave this for later.

Created attachment 47942 [details, diff] gentoo patch against 1.0.0 All, Here is my latest patch to make netapplet play nice with gentoo. This patch has lots of improvements over the original code and not just gentoo fixes. More patch love was needed and more patch love was received. This version required the wireless-config scripts or the masked baselayout packages.
Any chance of getting this updated to the latest (1.0.8)? Any change of getting an ebuild? It's a shame this fine utility is so inacessible to the Gentoo community.
