"winbind uid" and "winbind gid" parameters are deprecated in favour of the new "idmap uid" and "idmap gid" (see "man smb.conf"). The problem is that all of these four parameters are included in the smb.conf template, misleading the user to think they have a different function. I suggest to remove the old "winbind uid" and "winbind gid" from the smb.conf template.
