Description woneill 2004-10-20 13:34:16 UTC
The meanwhile-0.3-r1.ebuild points to an older version of the meanwhile library at sourceforge. The sourceforge file was updated/patched but has the same filename. The older version fails to login to the meanwhile server. The md5 checksums in the ebuild need to be updated and the gentoo mirrors need to pickup the updated file from sourceforge.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Change the /usr/portage/net-libs/meanwhile/files/digest-meanwhile-0.3-r1 file to contain "MD5 b28b87aaed0381f93906b605137289ab meanwhile-0.3.tar.gz 347260
2. Not sure how to update the gentoo mirrors. I've been downloading the source from http://aleron.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/meanwhile/meanwhile-0.3.tar.gz and putting it in my /usr/portage/distfiles directory.

Actual Results:
The meanwhile library can now login to sametime

Ugh so it is. I can have the gentoo mirror package replaced.

Fixed in portage. Bumped to -r2 and deleted -r1. gentoo-infra deleted file in our base mirror. That will take a while to propagate to others. Eventually new file will be downloaded to our base mirror and propagate out.

Thanks for catching this.
