ide-scsi + cdrecord = b0rked

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

Actual Results:  
cdrecord bombs near end of CD burning with infinitely repeated scsi bus errors

ide-scsi is ridiculous in itself :)
You should be using standard ATAPI burning now.

if your using 2.6.X, you shouldnt be using ide-scsi for an ATAPI burner. As you've found out, its broke, and isnt likely to be fixed any time soon.
